As our world evolves over time, so do the demands for necessities and development. Our nation is still developing, as is widely known, so there is less industrial and economic activity, as well as a dearth of excellent jobs and labor for everyone. Prioritizing and concentrating on this objective is important for our nation because doing so will help our economy’s growth and development.
The UN’s eighth-highest priority is to promote full and productive employment, decent work for all, and sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth. This implies that everyone who is able to work has to have productive jobs and decent work. But when we look at reality, particularly in our own country, we see that often even individuals who have the ability to work don’t try to do so. Maintaining productive and decent work for everyone in our country is a significant task for our government, especially in today’s time, given the fact that some of us are incapable and don’t even help ourselves to have a better living. Promoting economic growth must start from promoting as well as productive and decent jobs and employment for all.
HOW CAN WE HELP?

Standards of living start to drop as a result of reduced pay as labor productivity declines and unemployment rates rise. Societies must establish the conditions necessary for people to have high-quality occupations that stimulate the economy without endangering the environment if they want to experience sustainable economic growth.

“Productive employment and decent work are key elements to achieving a fair globalization and poverty reduction”.
More people in decent jobs means stronger and more inclusive economic growth. However, not all country can give their citizens decent work and jobs because of economic failure that are caused by persistent trade deficits, wars, revolutions, famines, depletion of important resources, and government-induced hyperinflation have been listed as causes. In some cases, blockades and embargoes caused severe hardships that could be considered economic collapse. Yet, a country can solve economic failure by opening more sectors to foreign investments, streamline administrative procedures to facilitate market entry and encourage firms to adopt new technology are measures that can boost private sector growth, create more jobs. Better education, Motivation programs, Programs against drug addiction and homelessness, Fight discrimination, Support programs for mental issues, Subsidies for companies how are reintegrating unemployed persons, Fiscal and monetary measures in a financial crisis situation are also possible solutions to the existing unemployment of a country.
Problem and Solution
Society as a whole benefits when more people are being productive and contributing to their country’s growth. Productive employment and “decent work” are key elements to achieving fair globalization and poverty reduction.

“Unemployment can lead to unrest and disrupt peace if it is left unaddressed”.
Opportunities for everyone to get work that is productive and delivers a fair income, security in the workplace and social protection for families, better prospects for personal development and social integration.
It is also important that all women and men are given equal opportunities in the workplace. A continued lack of decent work opportunities, insufficient investments and under-consumption lead to an erosion of the basic social contract underlying democratic societies: that all must share in progress.
CONCLUSION
As our country’s Philippines, is still developing to become a fully developed nation, the government must strive harder in order to sustain our economic growth and create better jobs that can fully support a family wants and needs. The sustainable development created by the United Nation, which can help people around the world live better lives, requires sustained and inclusive economic growth.
Economic expansion can create more lucrative job possibilities and boost everyone’s financial stability.
Rapid economic growth can also help developing and least developed nations narrow the wage gap with developed nations, reducing the stark disparities between the rich and the poor which is a rampant issue in our country. Additionally, rapid growth, particularly in the least developed and developing nations, is at high risk of labor exploitation that big companies has taken advantage of because of having lower wages, this needs to be addressed by the government in order achieve a sustainable growth. With that being said, “Decent Work and Economic” is only achieve through efforts and cooperation of our nation and the world.
RECOMMENDATIONS
The employment rate and the economy in the Philippines are one of the most crucial topics that require immediate solutions. The Filipino people are filled with creative ideas that can be transformed into fresh innovative products that can be sold in the market.

Hence, we recommend that to boost the economy and lessen the number of unemployed Filipinos, we shall develop small businesses and support local products to empower Filipino culture.

The Philippines is well known for local tourism that captures the interest of foreigners, especially those coming from first-world countries. Thus, we need to take advantage of it by promoting it and increasing the possibility of bringing dollars into the country. Moreover, we should engage in trade support wherein, we shall optimize export to import local goods. This only proves that local developers and producers shall hire local employees to elevate local supermarkets.
